Food grade silicone tubing usually does not experience significant softening when transporting hot drinks, mainly due to its excellent high temperature resistance.
Food grade silicone tubing is made of imported silicone raw materials through scientific production processes, and has the characteristics of non-toxic, odorless, high transparency, and good flexibility and elasticity. In terms of temperature, food grade silicone tubing can withstand high temperatures, generally up to 250 ℃. Therefore, when delivering hot drinks, as long as the temperature of the hot drink does not exceed the high temperature resistance range of the silicone tube, the silicone tube will not soften.
However, it should be noted that although food grade silicone tubing has excellent high temperature resistance, it may still experience a certain degree of softening in long-term high-temperature environments or short-term overheating. In addition, if the silicone tube is exposed to grease for a long time inside, it may also cause the silicone tube to soften. Therefore, when using food grade silicone tubing to transport hot drinks, prolonged high temperature heating and contact with oily substances should be avoided as much as possible to ensure the stability and service life of the silicone tubing.
